File Under Good Times
Since my parents watched Zoe overnight, I found myself with an entire evening free. It had been so insanely long since I had enjoyed legitimate free time that I intended to make it count.

My evening began at Nelore Restaurant. It is a Brazilian Steak restaurant owned my the Fogo De Chao folks. My neighbor's father is an insanely wealthy anesthesiologist, who loves to show off his enormous....wealth.
While swords of bloody meat swirled around our table, we debated the election, and his unyielding commitment to the Republican party, and its candidate, John McCain.

Once I talked the Constitutionalist into a corner from which he yelled "to hell with all of that 'All Men Are Created Equal' bullshit" I knew he was toast.

So I offered to take him to a party. Joe's B-day bash at Late Nite Pie coincided with my dear friend Juan's birthday, who was, thankfully, there as well!
What can I say? The band was rocking and the beer was flowing. And my friends were just as wonderful as I remember.
I didn't leave until last call, because it was a Kim love fest that I was diggin' on! Everyone was so cool, and happy to see me. It felt amazing.
